Roars and shrieks filled this year’s Interdisciplinary Out-of-Campus Trip (IOCT) for the Kindergarten and Grades 1- 4 students. This likely made the event held January 24th an adventure to remember for the kids and parents alike.
The group went to Air Force City Park, Clark Museum, Dinoland, and Puregold Duty Free, Clark.
This IOCT aimed for the WILL School of Antipolo, Inc. (WSAI) students to gain fun experience out of the modern-day mobile and online jazz. It also showcased the beauty of the country, Clark, Pampanga specifically, with the province’s rising economy post-Mt. Pinatubo eruption.
The historical Mt. Pinatubo eruption is the second-largest eruption of the 20th Century. Touring the province was very timely with the recent events of the Taal Volcano eruption mid-January.
The trip showcased the developments in the different areas of Clark, Pampanga after the devastating calamity.
In the trip, they toured around historical Military Aircrafts. Mobile phones were not allowed for the students, whilst they had fun activities such as kite flying, puzzle race, and basic teambuilding among others while in Air Force City Park.
After this, they toured around the Clark Museum to learn local history and diverse artifacts. Clark Museum also showcased the province’s history through an interactive 4D Theater.
Roars and shrieks filled the air as the students witnessed a friendly dance from Dinoland’s dinos. They explored the different World Wonders in the miniatures in Dinoland, also known as Dinosaur Island. Dinoland tour guides shared interesting facts about the existing miniatures.
Some of their other activities were a Dinoland version of a train ride and an interactive 7D Theater show.
Finally, they went to Puregold Duty Free for a shopping spree and “pasalubong” stopover.
This month’s IOCT is the second and last group to have their meaningful school trip for this year. The first group had theirs last November 2019.
