Is this a peaceful dream or a nightmare I couldn’t bear?

Please let the people hear and listen to our call.

Will there still be trees and fresh air?

Or will it all be gone and our dreams will begin to fall?

Forests are now being destroyed and are usually burning,

For building factories that pollute the clear sky.

Our cycle of mistakes keeps turning and turning.

Ocean levels slowly rise so high.

Deadly diseases spreading like wildfire,

Screams of agony and hate getting louder and louder,

But someone tells us, is this what we truly desire?

People fight while the innocent ones cower.

Don’t let the nightmares lead us astray.

There is still hope by the end of the rain.

We will take a stand and let peace show us the way.

Let us strive to bring love and not our selfish gain!
