To the incoming 4th Graders of WSAI, February 14 was more than but a Heart’s Day. The incoming 4th Graders also celebrated their transition to 4th Grade in a Crossover Ceremony.

The Crossover Ceremony highlights the students’ transition from primary to intermediate levels.

A video presentation kicked off the program. It highlighted the 3rd Graders and their adventures growing up.

This was followed by the Candle-Lighting Ceremony and the giving of vows.

The much-awaited gifting of the cuff links followed suit. To WSAI, the cuff link, symbolizes the WSAIan’s faithfulness to the Lord, bound by their humility, simplicity, loyalty, and integrity.

It was followed by the handing of the seal of integrity and simplicity and the vows of the parents.

WILL Chorale, with the students from the Junior High School, also graced the event with their rendition of “Amare et Servire.”

The program closed with a giving of gifts to the parents.

Ms. Kimberly Leyva, the 3rd Grade Adviser, said that it was her first time to coordinate such an event that thankfully ended well. “It was successful because we all worked together,” says Ms. Leyva.

The event was organized by WSAI to cap off this year’s 4th Grade transition.
