ABOUT

“The focus of our lives should not be what we want to achieve for ourselves, but to allow God to lead us on what He plans us to be.”

Dr. Belinda A. Torres

Founder and School Directress

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

In 1997, Dr. Beth started a small pre-school in Cristimar Village with the help of her husband, Sir Ted. They had 55 students and only 1 staff member. At that time, Dr. Beth had just given birth to her second son. She ran the school all by herself. She was the teacher, the director, the registrar and even the cleaner! In the middle of the school year, almost half of the students left to go abroad. She was worried that the school would not succeed. But she didn’t give up on her dream of building a school that would nurture its students with love.

To make ends meet, Dr. Beth gave extra lessons every afternoon for a few years. With her hard work and Sir Ted’s support, the school grew every year. In 2005, the school completed the Basic Education Program (Nursery to Grade 6). Then, in 2008, it added the Secondary Education Program (Grade 7–10).

The school became very popular and was recognized as one of the best private schools in Antipolo City. It received awards from local and national government units, non-government organizations and educational institutions. Its students won prizes in different competitions. The school was also allowed to accept foreign students by the Bureau of Immigration.

Despite the school’s great success, Dr. Beth made a point to provide personalized attention to every student. She knows every student by name and their stories. Her compassionate approach made the school stand out.
